Let Captain Pete Durmer be your host

"Thank Abba"

For the Fly Rod or Light Fishing adventure of a lifetime. This is a definite must Trip

"Thank Abba" is always ready for another adventure. Captain Pete's "Fishing Machine" allows for ample room for spin & fly casting anglers both front and rear.

Captain Pete runs out of Sugarloaf Key Marina only 15 miles from Key West, FL, with the 23.5' long 8.5' beam center console powered by a 225hp Evinrude Ocean Pro V6 boat by Dusky Marine Inc. (http://www.dusky.com). The speed and dryness of the run make it a pleasurable craft for the days fishing. He runs half and full day trips for Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin, Kingfish & Marlin in the Blue Water. Capt. Pete will also fish all reef species including that toothy barracuda. One of the great opportunities fishing from Sugarloaf is the fantastic Wreck Fishing where a lucky angler can land over a dozen different species of fish in one day with Cobia, Permit, Kingfish and big Shark to name a few. Pete specializes in flyfishing and in "ALL" light tackle. Pete has 21 years experience and 5 world records caught on his boat. His expertise and knowledge coupled with state of the art electronics like his Autohelm Auto-Pilot, Lowrance 350A GPS & Sounder, and Raytheon radar will get you on the fish and back safely in all WX conditions. I have gone out with Captain Pete a number of times and have been completely satisfied with the results. I've caught fish on fly till my arms have fallen off and ached for a week (the tell tail sign of an excellent trip). Pete is by far one of the most reasonably priced guides around. Dollar for dollar you get the most bang for the buck. You can contact Captain Pete at 305-745-3333 for more info and reservations. (November thru June) Don't delay as the prime winter season is here so book early for the best dates!!!!!!!
